Alisha + Mitchell

Last night I met up with the sweetest couple from Washington. Originally from Kentucky, Alicia and Mitchell found themselves moving to Washington to grow professionally. Through Mitchell's job they were both able to come to Maui for business and pleasure. And, as they so eloquently put it, without the kids! I had a great time sharing a little bit about Hawai'i with these two and learning their love story. Mitchell is a bit goofy and Alisha a bit patient: they make the perfect couple.

What a great sunset we ended this session with. Maybe the Hawaiian Gods are trying to tell you two something!

Once again, thank you for letting me get to know the two of you and choosing me to help you celebrate ten years of love and a kid-free vacation!

Venessa Graduates!

On April 28, Venessa and I traveled into the Iao Valley to do her senior portraits at the Chinese Garden, Bamboo forest, and the Hawaiian Hale. Once again, this is a location I have never been to. This island is so small you would think I would have discovered all of these hidden gems! Good thing I have great clients to show me the hot spots!

Venessa is naturally very photogenic which made this shoot an easy task for me! I just couldn't help but smile every time Venessa would pose; when she smiled she would actually giggle. Looking back through these pictures I can still hear her laughing. Thanks again, Venessa!

Mahea Graduates!

Mahea was kind enough to let me take her senior photos. What I like most about Mahea is her quirky and genuine sense of humor. She is not afraid to be herself; it clearly shows in her photos! We had a blast exploring the Old Maui High (how have I never been there before? For shame!) and then cruising along Baby Beach in Paia. We got many laughs from tourists as I was literally running beside her taking photos! We rounded out the day with some shave ice. It couldn't have been more perfect, in my opinion.

Thank you Mahea for giving me the opportunity to capture you being YOU!

Me? A blogger? I guess we are going to find out!

Hello and welcome to my blog! This is my first attempt at internet writing so we will just have to wait to see how I do!

I am currently in the process of getting my exposure for my growing small business. This summer I hope to spend some quality time with high school juniors as I take their senior portraits.
